Robert J. Petillo is a member of the firm’s Public Finance and Real Estate department, where he focuses his practice on affordable housing and bond financing. Robert serves as issuer’s counsel, disclosure counsel and special counsel to local housing finance authorities, non-profit lenders, and the statewide housing finance corporation.

Robert earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. He previously worked legal roles with both The Walt Disney Company and Universal Studios, while attending law school full-time. Prior to law school, Robert attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Film.

Through his previous experiences, he has gained wide exposure to complex real estate proceedings, construction and contract law disputes, as well as unique hospitality law related matters.
