On July 8, 2025, Attorney Lori T. Milvain successfully prevented a client’s long-time domain name from being transferred to a global aircraft company in an ICANN proceeding. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers permits trademark owners to file proceedings to achieve the transfer of domain names if using the trademark owner’s registered trademark in bad faith. Lori was able to successfully argue against the transfer and preserve the client’s rights.
