Lauren M. Colella practices in the areas of public finance, real estate, and local government law. Lauren primarily represents housing finance authorities, non-profit lenders, and the statewide Florida Housing Finance Corporation. She serves as issuer’s counsel, disclosure counsel, and special counsel for transactions involving the issuance of loans and grants, and tax-exempt and taxable bonds.

While attending Mitchell Hamline School of Law to earn her Juris Doctor, Lauren worked for the firm full-time as a paralegal and attended law school during the evenings and weekends. Lauren’s previous experience includes real estate, corporate, and agricultural law.

Prior to law school, Lauren attended the University of Central Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies in three years, and earned the highest grade point average of any student in her graduating class.
